World-Class Production and Mixing Designed to Bring Your Songs To Life

Finding the right team is similar to finding the right musicians. When you work together, it feels like the perfect match. You inspire each other to create bigger and better results.

Maybe you’re looking for that perfect connection to complete your ideas in ways that you can’t see yourself.

A great Producer and Mixer can help you with that last bit of input to bring the music to the next level and make the song feel complete.

Music That Makes You Feel So Good, It Gives You Goosebumps

I believe that most Producers and Mixers can make a song sound good.

But for me, a great song is about that last 20% that elevates it from good to truly standing out.

In my process, I always prioritize what inspires me the most, often adding unique touches to lift the song.

I have honed my craft over the years learning from all the best engineers and producers in the industry.

My experience allows me to bring a combination of creativity and professional expertise to your songs.

With your vision and my expertise, we can bring out the very best in your music, making sure it doesn't just sound great, but feels right too.

A Client Recently Told Me,

"You Make Dreams Come True"

I only work with rock so I can use all the skills I’ve learned to be the best in the field.

I’m a Grammy-winner that's spent over 20 years in the industry working with some of the top names of the business. I’ve worked with artists like Foo Fighters, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, Steven Wilson, Billy Idol, and Danzig.

While I’ve been fortunate to work with some of my favorite artists, I'm also influenced by the production styles of a variety of rock genres, and I tap into this for my own creative interpretation while working. I find inspiration in a range of rock genres, including art rock, indie rock, alternative rock, grunge, industrial, progressive, acoustic, hard rock, stoner rock, psychedelic rock, pop rock, experimental rock, eclectic-rock and beyond.

Influences:

Soundgarden, Radiohead, Queens Of The Stone Age, Tool, Alice In Chains, Puscifer, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Muse, Foo Fighters, Karnivool, Jack Johnson, A Perfect Circle, Royal Blood, Black Keys, Fink, Led Zeppelin, Primus, The Beatles, Stone Temple Pilots, Kings Of Leon, Mutemath, Porcupine Tree, Deftones, System Of A Down and many more.

I want to use all my experience in this industry to help your music sound the best it possibly can.

INTERVIEW WITH BRENDAN

Get To Know Me

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I have loved music from a very early age, I love that I get to work with it all day long. I love crafting songs into something else that enhances the vibe and makes everyone excited about it.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: I'm a grunge baby :) I love grunge rock, progressive rock, and also some mellower stuff like Radiohead. Here's my full list of influences: Soundgarden, Queens Of The Stone Age, Tool, Alice In Chains, Puscifer, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Muse, Foo Fighters, Karnivool, Jack Johnson, Incubus, A Perfect Circle, Royal Blood, Black Keys, Fink, Stone Temple Pilots, Kings Of Leon, Mutemath, Porcupine Tree, Deftones, System Of A Down and many more.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I have been in the industry for over 20 years. I went to recording school and took the traditional path of working my way up at A-List recording studios in Los Angeles. Due to the top studios I have worked at, I have trained with many of the industry's best engineers and producers.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: 98% of my current work is with rock, modern rock, art rock, alternative rock, experimental rock, all kinds of rock. I also have a lot of past experience in pop, orchestral, jazz, and electronic, so I am comfortable with all projects and genres. If your project blends several genres, I have experience in everything so no worries.

Q: What other music production professionals inspire you?

A: I have had the privilege and honor to train under these greats: Robert Carranza, Spike Stent, Doug McKean, Alan Parsons, Billy Bush, Al Schmitt, Jim Scott, Darrell Thorp, Don Was, Steve Lillywhite, Ed Cherney, Gil Norton, Mike Clink, Greg Koller, Bill Bottrell, Greg Kurstin, Jerry Finn, Mike Plotnikoff, Mark Needham, Blake Mills, Matt Hyde, Dave Schiffman, Mike Shipley, Manny Marroquin, Greg Townley, Nate Kunkel, Frank Wolf, Brad Haehnel, Jim Hill, Gabe Moffat, and many more.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Don't make everything dirty, if you are looking for a grungy mix don't distort everything, distort a few things and have pristine sounds as well for contrast.

Q: What advice do you have for a client looking to hire someone like you?

A: Be clear on the big picture you want. Figure out which reference songs have mixes similar to what you want. This is very helpful for me to determine the overall vision for the project, and will make it easier to deliver a mix that you love.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I always want to bring the artist's vision into focus. Achieving the vision for the song is my #1 priority. Whether it's super polished and clear or low-fi and distorted, I want the artist happy and excited about the music.

Work with a Grammy winner who’s worked with Trent Reznor, Foo Fighters, and Steven Wilson.

I have spent over 20 years in major studios learning from all the best engineers and producers in the industry. I started specializing in rock production and mixing because I love rock music and I love helping artists bring their vision to reality.

I’ve been fortunate to work with some of my own personal favorite artists, including Trent Reznor, Foo Fighters, and Steven Wilson. I’m grateful to have won Grammys and worked on projects that have won Oscars and Emmys.

I've developed a smooth, efficient process, ensuring every client receives an album that brings their vision to life, while giving each song my personal creative input to avoid assembly line productions.

My focus on rock allows me to hone my skills precisely for this genre, striving to be among the best in modern rock.

I’m happy to say that one client recently told me, “You make dreams come true”

And my goal is to create an inspired album for you that’ll make your dreams come true, too.
